What Sick Moves is

Sick Moves is the music and video player for dancers that lets you practice at your pace. Open the song from class or any other track, slow it down as far as you need without the pitch changing, and loop the part you keep missing until it sits. Set the cue where you like, so every run starts exactly where you want it. Open the video your teacher filmed of your dance, and the app lines it up with the original clean track and keeps the two in time at any speed, so you can slow the whole class down and still see and hear it together.

And when you want to, the app also counts the beats for you: it finds the tempo and the bars, counts you in before the first beat, and speaks the counts while you dance, even over the picture when a video is showing, so you can stream your desktop or mobile to your TV at home and practice in front of it.

How it works

  1. Open your song. Slow it, loop it, set the cue. The tempo and the bars are found for you, and you can move the first beat if you count it differently.
  2. Open your video. It follows the song, so the video and the music stay together even when you slow everything down.
  3. Repeat until it's clean. Save the whole setup as a project and share it.

It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, and installs to the home screen like an app. Your files stay on your device.

Your first 7 practice days are free. Then 3.99 € a month or 34 € a year, everything included.
